Merry Christmas/Present Time

(Taken from Deviantart account, because I'm so lazy.)

*Zen Micro 5GB MP3 Player (Hellz Yeah!) w/ Ear-phones
*Saitek Rumble PC Control Pad
*Burnout Revenge
*Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
*South Pole Clothing (freakin' rocks!)
*Robe and Slippers
*Dungeon Seige II

(Not to mention I brought myself Jade Empire and Megaman Legends)

The best part is that, after nearly a year of "collecting dust" (it was surprisingly clean when I grabbed it), my PS2 is playing again! Thank god, now I don't have to mooch off of my brother to borrow it. :D

There will be a desktop screenshot by the end of the day. I didn't get that scanner, but we fixed the old one...just have to find the artwork again. ^^;

Now if you don't mind, I'm playin' DSII into the wee hours in the morning. :peace:

(Whoa...didn't know it carried the emotes over. Snap.)

Freaky Stuff...

Whoops! Nearly forgot to post this!

For the same reason I got in trouble, my friend Wendell was grounded for a couple of days. Which is really wierd, because it happened on the same week, if not day...anyway, there's a teacher's conference later on, so my mom is going up for that, but otherwise, things have smoothed out, and it's gonna be a merry christmas after all.

I'd normally be putting down emotes, but Imageshack is acting a little funny lately, and I don't know why. Gonna see what I have to do to fix that, so check in later on for another update. Cya!

...Bad Week.

Sorry about not writing for a while. I had to take a break from last week...ugh. I missed 2 homework assignments in the same week, so my mom got a call from the teacher...which just lead to chaos until my mom actually came home.

Good news is, I got my PSP emulators to work. And afterwards, I had a good weekeng (we got our tree). Gotta go, time for school. Sorry. :)

Happy Belated Turkey Day!

I've been sleeping way too much lately. I guess that's just me enjoying my 5 days from school. I finally got some more sprites out of the way, but I'm still not done with Sniper Joe yet, and no other characters are finished. I still have no story for it, eitherImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

I'm kinda spread out over everything right now. I'm working on my christmas list, while working on my desktop, righting this post, and just last night I finished Indigo Prophecy when I rented it Tuesday. Before that, I beat Path of Neo, my clan's thinking about some Counter-Strike gaming, and I want to get back to all of my PC games, including Maplestory. Trying to beat Kingdom Hears again as well, and we're doing shopping tomorrowImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

If I have time, I'll work on a Path of Neo reviewImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

OK, that Soul Caliber III review:

Graphics: These are some of the cleanest graphics I've seen on Playstation 2, period. Every detail is shiny and detailed. There are a lot of differences between the characters besides the weapons they use. Speaking of the weapons, once again, beautiful. Expected from previous SC games, but even the shop characters were unique. There's even an option to change the colors of the main character's costumes. Ingenious. The Custom Character story mode's models were detailed too, considering how small and insignificant they were.
[5 out of 5]

Sound: Battle-wise, the weapon clashings were perfect with every hit, deflect, and counter. Voices, however...well, they were great considering it's a fighting game. However, definetly not the best. I'm just glad they focused on a lot more things than the voices. There just wasn't enough Create-a-Character voices, though. There were 4 per gender, which means any characters not a part of the main cast sounded pretty much the same. However bad the English was (there were just too many corney puns), I got used to it, so the Japanese didn't do it for me (had I used Japanese instead, it'd probably be visa versa).
[4 out of 5]

Gameplay: Versus was fantastic. Playing against another person just seemed so natural, as it is in many fighting games for me. This just fitted perfectly, as it should. The whole parrying thing was never my "cup of tea", though. Making any attempts at it only got me killed, so I lost a lot of the experience with what seemed to be a key tactic in the game. I always liked any Creating modes, whether it's tracks, people, moves, or designs on clothing. I just wish you didn't have to unlock every single piece of clothing through the single player games. Which brings me to my temper from last post. If there was ever a game where I think my heart would burst from high blood pressure, it's this game. The difficulty level is through the charts! All I wanted was to unlock stuff for my custom character, but it was such a chore! The Tales of Souls mode was understandably difficult (it's pretty much the same for all 3D fighting games), but that RTS emulator was too extreme. Pretty much, if you didn't want to lose, you had to personally fight every single character and beat them, because they were always stronger than you, so you can't beat them on the field. What's the point of the field, then? Not to mention your level 10-20 guy or girl barely has a chance against the level 30 characters, just because they dodge and block every attack and then proceed to kick your ass across the floor and off the stage. Why did my level 15 Monk have to fight a level 60 SC Main Character (OK, he didn't have to, but if you want to unlock everything, you pretty much have to)? The mini-games seemed a bit pointless, but fighting a giant statue is always fun...
[4 out of 5]

All in all, get this game if you can handle the difficulty and you have friends to play against. I may be a bit biased because of my suckiness in the game, but it's still fun. Don't give it to a new person for Christmas, though, as they may throw it in the air and shoot it with a shotgun after playing for two days. I'll stick with my 2D fighters, thanksImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

GRR!

Ok, Soul Calibur III is such a bitch..Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Sorry to start off on a bad note, but I am so pissed at that game right now...It's great, don't get me wrong, but it's just so damn difficult! I'll have a review by the end of the week. On that note, I think I'll start reviews of my games and the ones I rent. I've gotta find a way to make a list of the games, without taking up too much room on my sidebars. Meaning this may end up in another place (the reviews, anyway).
I've got school in the mornin', so I'll update later. I'll also get some artwork on Devart, and maybe submit something to Customize.org as well. This week's got a lot of stuff planned out for me. Oh, and I've gotta change that slogan up top... It's just not fitting anymoreImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

DeviantArt Account

I finally decided to get me a DeviantArt account yesterday. It's not much right now, but at least I'm noticeable on the site now: zero-armada.deviantart.com

All I have up right now is a screenshot, but I hope to have an old piece of art on by the end of the week. DeviantArt has been my good friend for a while, and I know at least one person with an account: William (will-e-h.deviantart.com). He is the art guru in my classes...period. Gary's a close second, hopefully he's gonna get an account, tooImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

I'm a little bummed out about my grades right now. I'm still averaging out a B overall, but I have a D in my Pre-Calculus class. I do not want to fail any class, as it's my ass out the window if otherwise. I guess it's understandable, though (least I hope so), since it is one of the hardest classes in the school. Our teacher is often hard to understand (not a fluent English speaker), and our textbooks are horrid, but she knows my mom...which is never good. My brother took her exact same class, so he knows, which is both the problem and a solution. But, as long as it doesn't effect my gaming intake, I'll put what has happened behind me and try harder. I'm starting to get it now...I hope..Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

As you can see, I'm using different emoticons again. If this system works, we won't have movin' ones, but we'll have minimal ones. They look good so far, and fit my site theme at least. Let's try them for a while. Zero out. (emoticons were created by Beccary, used from her generous free distribution. No credit goes to me...at all...period. If the emots stay, credit will be displayed on the sidebar.)

Happy Halloween!

I know I've posted too much already this week (runnin' out of stuff to talk about), but I wanted to wish everyone a happy Halloween. I'll probably forget later on. I'm goin' to William's (a friend from middle school and since) house for a Midnight Hallo Gaming session (and not Halo!). I'm bringin' my "new" digital camera with me, since we got a new one this week. I'm using the old one from now on (unless I'm taking pics at a party
Mom goes to...curse underage and unemployment). I still got that SD card from when I made a mistake in picking up the wrong memory stick (it was for my PSP), so I guess we're using it now. Thank you, coincidence!
...and how many times did I use parenthesis just now?

You guys know me by now. I like trying new stuff. Today, it's new emos! I'll start using text emos and face ones. This is a test run.

Ok, I'm out. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us [I forgot who did the text ones, but they weren't by me. The faces were done by darkmoon3636@Deviantart.]

Tried the Flash thing, but the size is too big for my blog. Sorry guys. You'll just have to look at my account. I'm putting a Flickr Badge on the side of the page. Check it out every now and then.

Gamer Update

I went over my dad's old high school friend's house. She has a kid about my age, with all 3 systems. Already I was glad we weren't the only ones with all 3 consoles. His Playstation is even broken (like mine)! Anyway, I got him addicted to Phantom Dust, just like everyone else that's played. And he was pretty good. Kicked my tail a couple of times (still owned him, though).

Decided I'm waiting for the video card. Not really buying anything that needs it right now. Now what I'm picking up next is Def Jam: FFNY. It's less than 20$, so heck yeah. Also, gotta make up meh Christmas list soon. Not buying anything else till after the Holidays (besides gifts...).

Still grabbing sprites for my flash, and workin' on the story. Gotta go now, I got school in 5 minutes. Cya!

Time Loop

Wow, 2 days is a long while for tomorrow.

Anyway, it's been a pretty bad week for me. Let's just leave it at that for now. It's still really late.

The second I get these photos up, I'll finally be able to show you just how it is to be on a cruise ship. :)
There's some kinda flash thing that uses...some sort of free photo upload. Whatever it is, it's at Blogger Templates. That site is very nice for noob bloggers. Sorry again for the short update, trying to rearrange some things right now in real life.

New Video Card

I officially need a new video card. I can't play Battlefield 2! Of all the things I couldn't be able to play, it had to be this one. Just. Not. Fair. I figure I'm gonna need a new video card anyway, what with the next PC games coming out (including UT '07).

I hope to be playing the beta of Chronicles of Spellborn soon, so a new video card would definetly be good on my part. Just need to find a way to get the funds that's not through my parents. Finish up tomorrow.

Unemployment

I'm still jobless, and it doesn't look like I'll be getting one anytime soon. I just have no idea of where I'm gonna get some money, and I refuse to work in a fast food joint. Never, I say. NEVER!!

Until I find something that truely suits me, I have no job whatsoever. And that's just how it has to be, I guess. ..

Other than that...Not much to tell ya, except that I shall do a flash with Megaman X and Sniper Joe. Definetly made up my mind on that.

Makeovers!

As you can see, I've given the site a face makeover. Unfortunetly, it's not by me. I have no idea how to do HTML coding, much less set it up for Blogger. So, I used a template from Blogger Templates, so it's not completly default. Also added an XML button, Firefox Button, and some Google Ads in the bottom right corner. It's there, but not in the way, thank god. Please click there to get me money! Any helps. As soon as I figure out how to make the site from scratch, I'll do it, but for now, I'm leaving it like this, unless others don't like it. Leave a post, and I'll change it. One last change will probably be a pic in the top banner, should match the color scheme.

I've noticed I'm playing less and less video games lately. Don't know, maybe I'm just in a slump. Still game a lot when I get company (just about every day), but...eh, maybe it's just me. Believe me, that was one of the hardest things to say. Oh, and go to this place. Very...very wierd.

To wrap things up, If anyone knows where I can find a good External Hard Drive (80 Gigs or more) for cheap, tell me. Just don't say EBay, 'cause like I said, I got no card for it, nor a bank account.

The Story so Far...

OK, It's time to plan my fall plans.

1. Get back Megaman X Sprites. I need these sprites because...
2. Work on MMX Comic Plot. I still want to do the comic. Now, I'm trying to decide on just a fanfiction, or a full-blown sprite comic. I will, however, work on at least one flash on it (which would be my first...ever).
3. Get a job. If I have any chance of...
4. Collect money for PS3. ...getting a PS3. I'm praying for XBox 360 for X-Mas, and my brother's probably gonna get the Revolution...buy I'll be damned if he gets a PS3 before me. Screw that.
5. Buy new games. Need money for that, too. Hopefully I'll get a job at Old Navy, just gotta...
6. Get a permit. Darm me being under 18.

Can't think of anything else. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got homework to finish. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Oh, wait... 7. Make a custom template for this site. Oh yeah. No more default for me.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

Yeah, I know. It's cheesy. But this is my mom we're talking about, so buzz off.

I got my hands on Burnout: Revenge. Get it now. Period.

Mortal Kombat: Shoulin Monks. You like MK, you like beat-em-ups, get it now.

OK, back to mom. She bought me a 512 MB SD card for my PSP. Shweet. Finally, I can put some MP3s and movies on that mog...did I just say "mog"? Thought so. So tired. I'll do a real update this weekend.

That's it. Too tired to post right now. And the smilies that I wanted to use...lost em at imageshack. T_T

...So...Beutiful...

OTAKON ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111

Video games galore, and even more anime!! I'm gettin' my tickets early next year!

I've got T-Shirts, a poster, Gundam Models (cheap), and a friggin' wooden sword. Not to mention some good memories. A lot of people were very friendly, I really enjoyed myself. Didn't get to do everything I wanted, probably because I wasn't prepared for it. Me and my brother got lost constantly.

On another note, I just got Phantom Dust for the XBox. Found out about it at Otakon. It's just addictive from the first moment in. The single player is ok, but the multiplayer is what got me. All I need now is XBOX Live. Problem is, no credit card...or any other funds whatsoever (Thanks to Otakon). Just have to wait till next month.

I've been getting lazy about the comic. Can't think of a good story yet. I'll fill ya in when I get it. Still need somewhere to post it, though, not to mention I need to learn web code.

For some reason...I still can't get a working LiteStep popup.rc up and running. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, unless it doesn't recognize shortcuts. If I can get one up (and I find a matching skin), I can finally release my milk screen shot. The main problem I've been having is finding systask icons that fit the theme, and replacing them with reshack. Soon as that's done, I'm posting it.

A Sick Post

Ugg...I got sick. Sucks. And on my family's vacation week, too. Well, It's not that bad of a cold, so I'm still going to Otakon (like the Flu could stop me...) I think tomorrow, we're going to Hershey Park. Maybe it'll sweat the cold out. :P
I'm getting along in the comic plot, but nothing solid just yet. I've got school in two weeks, so I wanna get something down by then.

Another Late Update

I wanted to hold off this one, but I needed to update. I got back from a 3-night Disney Cruise Sunday. It Was Awesome. I can't wait to get the pictures developed (which is why I wanted to wait for this update). They should get done by the end of the weekend. I lost my burned CDs and memory cards, though. T_T

Soooo cruddy.

My friend Donnell's giving me a new one though (least I think), on Friday. I am getting excited about Otakon...Have to be patient, though...
Unfortunetly, there is worse news. From this day on, my fanfic is officially dead. I have no inspiration, or will to continue it. Instead, I'll be focusing on my next project, a Megaman Sprite comic. It won't be too much, or come out very quickly, but it'll be something. I have "other" projects to do (damn homework)...!! Moving on!

My brother says he's hooked on Ragnarok now. It won't last much longer, though. He's not gonna pay for it...least that's what he says. Me, I'm not gonna even get started on it. Want to, but if I get hooked, I can't pay for it.

I'm kinda worn out and bored right now. Just gonna do the dishes and watch some TV. Peace.

P.S: I'm looking for a good logo for the blog, something that can be put on the title and on a picture link. I suck at logos, so if someone could draw me one, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! :D

Otakon UPDATE!!

YES! It's finally happened!! I'm officially headed to Otakon! We got the tickets a couple of days ago. Just wanted to let ya know that. I'm down at my dad's right now, so I can't do much. I'll update next Sunday. See ya then!

Just a Whole Lot of Stuff

Sorry about a late update, just got back from a family cookout we had over the weekend. It was pretty cool, but I also missed a clan match. I think we had to forfit that one, unless someone magically became free to play (everyone had something to do besides 2 people). Not much for me to talk about right now, except that I'm going on a cruise next week (so don't expect an update). I am pissed that I lost my memory card though. It had all my Online stuff on it, dammit! All my cars on Burnout 3 are gone, my Ratchet & Clank files gone, THUG 2 gone, SSX 3 gone, my network connection...crapped up. Praying I find it when I go back down to my dad's for the trip. Oh, and I still haven't gotten those tickets to Otakon yet, as my parents are fearing it'll run into our vacation week. I may get them yet, but it's still in the air.

One more thing...

I think I'm gonna start a Megaman X sprite comic (don't care how many times it's been done) with an actual plot starring Sniper Joe. Just have to come up with a story first.

One more thing...

I have a stupid summer break reading assignment to do as well. They freakin' mailed it to us! Messed up. I got until September 30th to read two books out of the five on the list that came with the assignment, so I can't just say I didn't get the notice ('cause there'd "still be time for me to read" as my teacher would say).

Otakon Update

Everything I just said last post, scratch it off. Seriously, I may still have a chance at going! My mom's gonna pay half for me and half for Dorion (My brother), so he may yet decide to come with me, thus getting me into Otakon!!! Just gonna have to wait and see (and prayImage Hosted by ImageShack.us)

Otakon, and How it Taunts Me

I really wanted to go to Otakon. It would have been my first time. Buy a few things, get some signatures, maybe meet a few friends. But my one way of getting on, my one ticket to my first anime convention...is too old for me. Credit cards suck, 'cause I can't use them...legally, anyway. Now, if it was my choice, I'd already be in my tent, waiting outside the door.

OK, that's a bit too far.

But my parents are worried that I'll be out too long in the sun or I'll run out of money for food or I'll get lost. Baltimore City is not that big, it's at the Convention Center (which is right next to the Bay), there are shops at the bay, and I'm never the one to run out of money for food. Never in a million years.

Prices go up tomorrow, which means an extra 5 bucks on the 50 already on the price. Which, for some reason, is too much for my parents. Which is just another excuse to keep me home. There's always next year, I guess. And I know they mean well. For my safety, you know...

Also gives me time to work on my cosplay costume I want to wear.

Guildin'!

I know it's been a while since I updated, but I got Guild Wars last weekend. That should be reason enough right there. I haven't played anything else besides my PSP since. And I don't plan to, 'cause I'm getting my butt kicked now. Not gonna take that lying down. And guess what? I'm getting Battlefield 2 next.

Yeah, my spare time is gonna go straight down the tube.

Also, I'm thinking about finally killing my Hamtaro Fanfiction. I just can't think of anything for it, and I'm gonna work on my RPG now. That in itself is a story times two (sidequests, ect.). I may update once a month...but that's about it.

Oh, and have I mentioned my hobby? I do Desktop Customization now. Pretty much, I make my desktop look nice to follow a theme, then I go and submit it on Customize.org. Getting better at it, too. I've done at least 11 works now, including the one I'm using right now (which looks like Microsoft's Longhorn OS, only white and not see-through). It took me all night, and I must have about 15 sources for it. You'll see it on Customize when I upload it: look for Zero_Armada as the creator. That's me. ^_^

So...Tired...

Happy 4th of July to everyone, to start things off. Hope you see your fireworks and everything...'cause I'm staying home watching House of Flying Daggers, in my AC house, with my PC. This is definetly "me" time right now, yet I spend some of it with you. Aren't I generous? :P

The 4th is just...non-existant in my house right now. Just yesterday, I went to a house-warming cookout for my Uncle TL. And boooyyyy do we have a family. Yet, for some reason, there was only my friend, Wendell, and my cousin Justin that were about my age. All of the other kids were either younger than six...or acted like one. All day I ran in and out of the house, either grabbing bites to eat, setting it on tables, or being messenger-boy. The plus to all of this...My Unc's 50+ inch Widescreen HDTV! Half of the day we spent playing Super Smash Brothers on the Gamecube. Shweeeeet.

After it all, we left the party...and got lost in Red-Neck woods. You see...the house is in Southern Penn, where there is more farm and forest than civilization. One wrong turn, and we lost my aunt's car, who was guiding us to the Interstate. So, we ask for directions. Another wrong turn after that led us to the highway with no access and a friend's car's nearly empty tank. We find a gas station, fill up our friend's tank, and finally get good info on where to go. Then that same car winds up nearly getting hit by a freakin' 18-wheeler carrying gasoline! It was going slow, but the driver had no patience whatsoever, we had to yell at him to stop!

After all of that, we get home, and sit in the living room for 10 minutes, no TV or anything...just completely dead on our butts. I envy my Uncle's house; I do not envy where he lives.

The tournament the day before went quite well. There wasn't a lot of people, but it was pretty fun. OK, back to Daggers. Out.

Stories in Code and Print

OK, that whole PSP - PC thing, got it figured out. So, not worrying about that anymore. I'm gunning for Half Life (so I can get Counter Strike) and Darkstalkers for the PSP next. My clan has this wicked CS server with a Warcraft 3 RPG Mod on it. Can't wait to check that out. Speaking of RPG Mods, I'm starting to get really interested in the Disasterous Concequences UT2K4 Server, 'cause it has...duh, an RPG Mod! I'm lvl 13 right now, and my arse is getting kicked in 15 directions. :(

All of this RPG stuff leads me to comics. How does it lead me to comics, you say? Well, I'm reading 3 VERY good comics: RPG World, 8-Bit Theater, and Dominic Deegan (just google them, I guarrentee you'll pick them out in seconds). RPG World is my latist comic right now, as I'm still in the archives (comic #400, though...lot of spare time). It's pretty much a comedy based upon every stereotype of a standard RPG to date, but it's done very well, and updated quite often. And at least half of the stereotypes are true in RPGs!

8-Bit Theater is another comedy pager, but whatever kind of plot it has (unlike RPG World and Dominic Deegan) it can fit on the head of a nail. It's just flat-out randomness, wierdness, and "explosion-ness" (did that last one make sense?). You'd really have to check it out in order to understand it. :D

Finally, Dominic Deegan. This is by far one of the best Webcomics I have ever read in my life. The plot is trememdously thick, the artwork is brilliant, the characters are very in-depth and are re-hatched in many unique ways, and it's updated pretty much every day now! That seems almost impossible, but somehow, this guy knows his techniques! There are fantasy elements (such as magic, magician schools, mystical creatures), and a few RPG techniques, this is by no means a telling of a game. I swear, I will never un-bookmark his site.

I know I haven't mentioned this, but I have a fanfiction based off of the Anime show "Hamtaro" (...I could't resist. They're just so damn cute!), which also employs the Legend of Zelda gaming series. It's called Hamtaro and the Ham of the Past (unique title, huh?). It's been down for nearly a year, but I just got chapter 4 and 5 up on my Rise of the Flame Volume (that's right, there is more than one volume, and there will be more) at Fanfiction.net. Check it out if you get the chance.

PSP and PC

I got my PSP!
I got my PSP!
I got my PSP!
Can't wait for PS3!

I did a AquaMark3 Benchmark of my PC, to see how good it was actually able to play games...I got an 8,000. That's just barely over Medium settings! I wanted a gaming PC...I feel like I got ripped off. My clan leader got an 85,000 on her updated PC. I just wish I had some more cash for these cards and stuff...or at least knew how to install them and overclock my cards.

The Coming of Age

Looks like both me and my clan are getting old. Clan's goin' on it's first full year on July 1st. My birthday's on the 21st. Just thought I mention that. Also, if anyone knows how to configure the popup.rc file in litestep through a txt editor (or knows a program that can do that), please leave a comment under the post. Thanks!

My character's gotton to lvl 20, and thanks to some selling via PBay (Perion Market), I got some casual wear too. :D

...Oh, Boy...

My hoster got hacked...my webspace is gone...just two more pieces of crap on my front lawn. I'll be sticking around here for a while, until I find a new host...after completing my site format. There is still good news, howerver: my brother finally got his new computer, I only have 1 more day of school, and my birthday's next week! Oh, and TrackMania Sunrise is, 9 times out of 10, goin' back to the chopshop (no pun intended). Game is just too bland for my taste. Till Next Time!

Yay and Boo (Mostly Yay)

...Finally...the war is over...finals are finally done!!!!!!!!!

Thank god for that! Being held up in a classroom with no noise whatsoever for 90 minutes in a non-AC room...just doesn't make sense. And we had to do it 7 times in 3 days! That's note one. I still have two more days of school after that, but it's just for parties and goodbyes. My friend Wendell had his belated birthday party today (finally, he postponed twice), and we went to Jillians with some friends of ours from middle school. I also got to play Ridge Racer on the PSP on Friday...I must have it!! I should get PSP on my birthday (how many times have I posted that?), so it's coming, sooner or later. I also got TrackMania Sunrise for the PC. Haven't installed yet, but the demo was great, because I'm in to customized tracks (played with those slot-car tracks when I was young).

On a sadder note, my friend Gary's 2nd floor burned down...I think last week. He lost a lot, including his computer. I just hope he gets another soon...he still seems upbeat, though. Also, the clan has been having a bit of frustration over competition, and a couple of jackasses that have been raiding our servers. This should be fixed up in a while.

Oh, and before I forget, I just found out a couple of moments ago via email that this "grand 2D game" I've been hearing about is up on the internet. It's called Magiknights, I believe. I'll give it a try, but I doubt it's better than Maplestory, which I'm now lvl 18 on.

On a final note, the website is coming on a bit slow. I'm having trouble working with some templates I found, and it's pushing back my release date. I also have to put the files up on the server, the images...just a whole lot of stuff. See ya soon, tekies, and be sure to never put on sunblock: you won't need it in your AC'd room.

P.S: From now on, when I update, I'll post an image of my MapleStory Avatar. Here his at about what he looks now.

Filler

I'll be updating my blog officially by next week, I'm in finals right now (and a cram session at that). Also, my new website should be up just after my birthday (June 21st), so start looking around about then. Hopefully I'll have the PSP to rant about, not to mention some new games.

Oy...HSAs Suck...

I've got HSA (High School Assessment) tests next week, so everything will be going a bit slower. No real updates, really, except I should be getting Track Mania Sunrise soon. It's a Racing game for the PC, and the demo is pretty fun, too. Website's still not up yet, either, so that's still gonna take some time. Otherwise, that's it. See you next week.

WOO HOO! New Site on the Way!

I finally found a good web host for my new site. Under the same name as my blog, consider it a site that will relate to video games and tech. It should start personal, at first, but hopefully by the year's end, it will have enough viewers to go community. Also, there are no ads forced by the site...but I may have one or two for a bit of income. I hate ads too, though, so don't expect popups...probably a small bar at the bottom of the site with ads. The site has 250 MB of storage, so expect some downloads, too. This is gonna freakin' rock!

It's just a temp page right now, and the url is a bit long (have to see if I can shorten it), but here it is: http://www.365dt.t-hh.us.

A Wierd Dream...

Ok, last night, I dreamed that I was in school (already a nightmare, isn't it?), and I went to use the bathroom. Next thing I know, I see a bunch of students already in there...with a desk? There was food around too...ugh, I just thought about how messed up that food is in a bathroom. I didn't ask, and I was about to leave, when one of them asked me if I was a snitch, or a spy for the school. I said no and walked back to the door...then an old friend of mine blocked the door...you know what, I'll just make that a preview. I'm gonna start a new story based on that. Can't believe I've finally broken my year-old writer's block!

MMO Rampage! -And Other Games

OK, for those who are still reading, I've got some great games to tell you about...and a couple that aren't so good.

First off is ROSE Online, also known as Rush on Seven Episodes. A free 3D MMORPG that has my mind blown from coast to coast! This is by far one of the best free MMOs around, by far. There is a lot of customization, fighting is pretty simplistic, Guilds and Clans are fully supported, and there are a bit of side things in it as well, such as go-carts! Monsters are pretty unique (the first enemies you fight are jumping beans with faces, limbs, and a headband), and all the equipment fits the theme of the game - simplistic fun! You really have to play it to understand it, but considering that it's free, there has to be some sort of catch...well, there is. The servers are often VERY full, and there are only 3. When you play, make sure it's for a long session, 'cause you won't get on every 5 minutes.

Next up is ASDF Hoverboard. It's kinda hard to classify this as a MMORPG only because it's more of a racing game, and no, you're not traveling around worlds looking for competition on a board. There are tracks, tricks you can do with the ASD&F keys (figures, huh?), up to 8 players per race...there's some customization, but you don't really need equipment because a lot of the winning comes from skill, not stats. So...just visit the site & check it out.

d.o. Online is another MMORPG (only thing I don't like about them is typing the MMO thing) in 3D. This one, however, is based on Chinese mythology, with the whole Ki thing going on. It's a pretty basic game, but it's still playable.

And then we come to the crap. Monster & Me is some sort of pet-raising MMORPG, but the make up of just the very beginning is a real turnoff. Text seems to be done very sloppily, and I haven't even learned how to capture monsters in order to raise them, which is pretty important, considering the point is monster raising. It all just seems a bit thrown together, and the worst of it is, if you don't know where to download, you'll be waiting for it to download for +50 hours! This game needs to be off-limits, yellow tape and all. I'm not even gonna offer a link because of the crappiness!

Now, two games that have me hooked right now are Little Fighter 2 (for some better info, check out Robotical World) and Soldat. Little Fighter 2 is a 2D Beat-em-up game in the light of Super Smash Brothers, Final Fight, and Dragon Ball Z. It's a bit quirky to figure out, but when it works, it works. The action is fast and furious...did I mention fast? And it's VERY hard to master...I still get my butt kicked on easy mode! It can go multiplayer with 4 players on a keyboard on one PC, or up to 8 online. One thing about the online, though: you need to know the IP of the person (or people) you're playing with. There is no server list or gatherings on one server; it's direct person two person (P2P) gameplay. Soldat, as I've heard, is a very popular 2D shooting game, with the most simplistic controls an online game can get...but I'll be damned if you'll master it in 2 months, much less two days! It's still addictive, especially when you get out a shotgun hit at point blank! Friggin' shweet!

I have a couple of other games stored away right now, but I'll go over them later. Until next time, folks!

The MP Players Cometh!

Everyone who wants to register on Maplestory better get crackin'. They're opening registration, but at certain intervals in the day. Just got word from a couple of sources that say tomorrow at 7PM Chinese Time, they'll open it up. Around my parts, that's about 7AM. May not be correct, though...but what do you have to lose?

RTCW In a Hair!

Today was a pretty sweet day in the office for me. At exactly 9:02 PM, I bought my copy of RTCW for the PC. Considering that EBGames closes at 9 PM, I shaved it past the skin. And no one else had the dang thing! Can't use EBay, Amazon would have come too late, and no one else sold it in a 24-hour period. After about an hour of searchin', I finally found it in a store about 16 miles away from me. We were to leave at about 7-8...until an accident stopped us flat (or at least my ride from getting home). We actually broke speed limits just to get it (although other cars were going at about the same pace...which kinda worried me...)! Finally got there, door was locked. We started to bang on the door, and the sales clerk went to the back...no, he didn't pull out a shotgun. Customer opened the door, we went in (of course, there was another worker there who completely ignored us...). Clerk came back with the Platinum Pack (lucky I called a bit in advance...if you call 2 minutes advance), and we were out of there. I'll be makin' another post tomorrow, got a gaming party tomorrow at noon (which is why I went through this chaos in the first place). Until then, folks...

A Windows Makeover and Other Assorted Tales

Hey to the 5 people who have seen my blog. Some things have gone down in the past couple of days, but not much, really. I tell you what, I've got a major check list to do by this summer, though. First off, I need to start pimpin' my Windows. I got a modded uxtheme.dll file so I can use some custom themes, but when I say "pimp", I mean "pimp". I need custom icons up the wazoo, and hopefully some programs that will let me do it without the god-awful manual labor (seriously, who does that anymore?). If I can start making some themes, I could really customize, but right now I'm kinda stuck in a loop hole, and running out of stuff to use.

Next is my fanfiction. I have my own fanfiction over at Fanfiction.net (Arthur name: Fox 51). It was supposed to be an epic Trilogy of Hamtaro and Legend of Zelda...ended up stopped at about 1/4 done due to me just getting lazy. Gonna see if I can get that started again. And possibly start another story, possibly based on Maplestory.

Then the hard stuff: where in the world am I gonna find good webspace!? I need a free website area as fast as possible, with some good content all set for it. I think I have a friend that can give some to me, but I don't really have any content ready for it. No theme, no text, not a thing. Haven't even decided on a subject. Don't want it to be personal, but still revolve around my taste. I'll probably do a games site.

Money for PSP. Need it. Now. 5 days ago, even! I'm praying to get PSP on my birthday in June, but I need some cash to get the accessories and games. A 512MB-1GB memory card (at least), carrying case, spare covers, straps...That's already close to $100! All well...starving artist I suppose.

A dozen of other things I want to put up, but no energy to do it. It's 4 AM. I'm tired. Post more next week.

Well, Might as Well Start Strong...

My first post, and the one thing on my mind is Maplestory. Maplestory is a PC online MMORPG that is right now in beta testing for retail release. It's completely free and may be planned to stay that way. Those with a registration can play and chat just like any other MMORPG, but the entire game is 2D. No Everquest 2 "holy crap!" graphics here. All of the sprites are hand-drawn. Completely hand-drawn. The characters, the backgrounds...I'm not saying it again, 2D! A lot of the movements are like platforming games (Megaman, Mario, ect.), and class changing (but are few and far-inbetween). I'm soundin' like a review, arent' I? Well, I have a few friends online (hopefully another by next week), but otherwise I'm not that far out there yet. Still at Level 14. I'll tell you a bit more later on. Oh, and if you decide to play the game, tough cookies. Registration is closed untill further notice. That one friend I mentioned is literally buying an account from my other friend's sister.
