"What am I Doing Here, Again!?"

I don't know what it is with me and letting this blog collect dust.

Likely it's just that...I am extremely forgetful. People who know me know I'm useless without telling myself repetitively to do something. If it leaves my mind, it's like reaching into a toy chest for that one Hot Wheels car you accidentally threw in there. I may get lucky and it's at the top of the pile...or somehow it slides into the bottom corner. I think posting on this blog kinda fell into that corner.

I need some sort of motivation to post, and for that I think I need better goals, things to aim for while working on this site. I don't think it'll work out well asking for suggestions here, but I thought I would at least mention it.

Lately, I've been soaking myself into viewing a bunch of media, moreso than usual anyway.RR
  • Reading a lot of manga off of and The Follow feature on the former is wonderful, and it does feel like I add at least 1 new manga every month to the list.
  • I've got some anime that I've been watching as well, some big ones for this season coming from GGsubs.
  • New Youtube channel follows since I last posted, including a lot of The Game Station.
  • Games...Not a lot of new stuff purchased, but there are some F2P games I've been getting myself into.
  • Music...Nope, actually not much on that front, though one of my musical pals is trying to fix that.
  • Been actually seeing recent movies after a silent spell of some months thanks to the Marvel kick that started up over the summer.
I think maybe what I'll do is post up spontaneous things, instead of working on actual pieces unless it calls for it. Getting stuff posted and being active is something that I've been failing to do, and obviously it shows. If it's not new things I come across, I'll bring up some older media that I think deserves a look-see from you all.

Oh, and please...feel free to comment, email me, all that stuff. I want to post, as much as I don't seem to want to as evident by my lack of posting. Tell me to do it, and I'll do it! Simple as that.

Let's Call It A Running Gag

Title of Blog: 365 Days of Tang.

I'm not even going to sugarcoat it. I've been neglecting this site for far too long, and I doubt I'm going to stop unfortunately. Every now and then I get the urge to post something, but then get distracted with life, school work, and games. Even when I come up with something I really wanna talk about, I can never articulate my writing to my standards of wanting to post on it, or it's really only to pat myself on the back...and who wants to read that?

I'm going to try to post more, but there won't be any planned schedule, product reviews are going to be extremely casual when they come up, and I'm going to allow myself to get a bit more personal (read: more rants) about things. Maybe lowering my standards on posts will help me to actually post things, and I'll build up from there.

And yes, I am still going to Otakon this year. Don't worry, that's one of the few things I promise to put true effort into.

Exhaustion in the Best Way [Otakon 2011]

I had so much fun this year at Otakon. The convention seems to get just a bit more enjoyable every year, and I'm sure it's due to me getting to know more and more people at the con. I met up with about half of my high school anime fans, some of my college friends surprised me with their appearance, and I spent this year at a hotel thanks to Neo and his family.

As usual, time to tally up the viewings and goods! If there's a star next to it, expect a full review of it soon on the site.

Media Watched:
  • Kanon (UGUUUUU~!)
  • K-ON! (Yes, I've avoided this one. I'll remedy that soon, practically no choice now.)
  • Hoshi o Ou Kodomo* (Absolutely beautiful animation, interesting storyline as well.)
  • The Disappearance Of Haruhi Suzumiya* (Can't believe I watched this before Neo did. :D)
  • Bible Black (Yes, I know. I'm terrible. But it was dubbed. DUBBED, I TELL YOU!! Only Fan Parodies made me laugh harder this con.)
New Games Played:
  • KOF XIII (I SUCK at this game. Ugh. That being said, looks gloriously, plays gloriously)
  • Drummania 8 (Again, suck. Still fun, though.)
  • Sin & Punishment (WHY did this game not come out in the States until so recently?)
  • Sonic the Fighters (Bad fighting engine, but a good guilty pleasure)
Swag: As some of you may know, I'm a Redditor. So, in an effort to get up a swag thread ASAP, I made this thread all on my phone. Feel free to post your swag listings in the comments or at the Reddit thread!

  • The CD is Sophisticated Insanity, signed by Hiro Yura*
  • 2 LoZ mangas based on Link to the Past and The Minish Cap (guilty pleasures.)
  • Gundam is a 1/144 00 Raiser (I still haven't built up my God Gundam from last year...)
  • Scrolls are FMA Brotherhood and GitS: SAC.
  • And lastly, a TF2 Heavy T-Shirt from Glitch. (SO MUCH BLOOD)
About $120. Kinda bummed I didn't get as much free swag as last year (bad timing), but was a very good, if crowded, con this year. Free swag was a Last Exile poster, Paper S. Sayian Hair, and JList paper eye-glasses.

I did miss out on several showings due to them filling up, as well as several free swag moments since I failed to make it to the industry panels. Neo has a much better swag list to post when he gets the chance.

I'm still kinda recovering from Otakon, and the realization that I go back to school very soon. I won't leave anyone hanging, however. Pictures and clips will be up soon!

The Plan

1. Get picked up by friend, head to Neo's.
2. Pile in, head to Pre-Reg.
3. Hop into line. Wait 2 hours.
4. Pick up tickets, dance like a mad man.
5. Head back to Neo's for anime moviethon until midnight.
6. ???
7. Profit.

PS: Ha! It's up before Thursday! Awesome!

Why hello there! Zero here!

I'm back...again. I know, it's really bad that I haven't posted since January, and it's completely my fault. Simply lost interests and will; I seem to be slowly losing my ability to multitask, and college is not a good time to lose it. That being said, I'm going to try again here on 365 Days of Te-

...Tang? Tang. Tang!

I feel like "365 Days of Tech" isn't fair anymore. I do a lot more than Tech, and have done so from the get go. So, let's be honest here. That being said, I had to think of a word other than "tech." I ran across "tang" in the thesaurus (yes, seriously), and ran with it. (Great title origin, eh?)

First major posts will come Wednesday, as I plan out the week ahead. Because it's Otakon Time! I've got a basic schedule down already, so this is gonna be goooood.

Zero, out! }-
